Communications equipment and technology developer Scotty Group has won a €2.84m contract from Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH.

The contract will contribute revenues this year and in the first quarter of next year, compared with £2.77m for the same period last year.

Scotty is supplying communications equipment for five DA42 MPP aircraft. This contract could be followed by another €200,000 order.

Scotty generated revenues of £1.7m in the first half of 2010. This meant that Scotty went from a profit of £239,000 to a loss of £568,000.

There is no news about the potential sale of the Austrian business.

At 13.75p a share, Scotty is valued at £2.78m.
