Asset manager Sigma Capital Group says that its property regeneration projects developer Sigma Inpartnership has extended its joint venture with Liverpool City Council.

In-Liverpool LLP has added six development sites to the existing Norris Green Village site.  The development sites will encompass residential, commercial and educational properties. The potential housing has been increased from 1,100 units to 2,000 units. There is also up to 500,000 square feet of commercial space.

Work should commence on the sites at the beginning of next year. The total development value is more than £2bn. Sigma should receive a profit share equivalent to 10%-15% of development profit and fees of 2%-3% of gross development cost. Other fees may be payable on things such as arranging finance.

At 10.12p a share, Sigma is valued at £4.96m.
