Sigma Capital expects to report a 2008 loss of around £500,000.

Investment write downs and bad debts will come to around £1.1m and Sigma says its underlying profit will be £600,000.

The net asset value of the cleantech and property investment company will dip from 15.6p to 15.3p a share. The share price fell 1.5p to 10.5p a share, which values Sigma at £4.91m.

A further £4.4m has been raised by the Sigma Sustainable Energy Fund II, which will boost future fund management income.

There is cash in the bank and the NAV should be relatively conservative. The shares are trading on a 31% discount to NAV.
