Sky High

Traffic data collector Sky High has confirmed that it will return to profitability in the year to March 2012 even though second half trading was not as strong as the first half’s trading.

Sky High made a profit of £153,000 on revenues of £3m in the six months to September 2011. The company broke even in the second half before any exceptional costs of the March acquisition of Count On Us, which supplies traffic surveys and analysis for government and consultancy clients. This gives Sky High a better geographic spread.

Sky High is trading strongly so far in this financial year, helped by a three year framework agreement with Transport Scotland. Planned increases in government infrastructure spending are boosting demand for the company’s services. However, Australian trading is disappointing.

At 10.25p a share, Sky High is valued at £2.21m.
