smartFOCUS

First half trading has been strong at marketing software supplier smartFOCUS according to its chairman‘s AGM statement.

Increasing international sales have boosted growth. A new Asia Pacific operation, called smartFOCUS Asia Pacific, has been established with Singapore-based Smart Software. Email marketing software provider Email Reaction has doubled its revenues in the period.
The shares rose 0.5p to 19.5p. The company’s profits have failed to meet expectations in recent years because of increased investment. House broker Arbuthnot cut its 2007 profit forecast from £2.2m to £2m at the time of the 2006 figures. The company needs to show that it can achieve this forecast and the AGM announcement provides reassurance about that.
