Business telecoms services provider Spiritel has won a contract with an international hotel chain and appointed FinnCap as its nominated adviser and broker.

The shares jumped 0.15p to 0.98p each, valuing Spiritel at £5.76m.

The new contract is for a private voice network and is worth £600,000 over two years. Spiritel is replacing BT.

The same customer has renewed a maintenance contract that will be worth £2m over three years.

Cross-selling of services has produced orders worth more than £2m in less than nine months.

FinnCap replaces Daniel Stewart which was appointed in January 2008.
