Baseball player agent TLA Worldwide is set to join Aim.

TLA is raising £11.9m at 20p a share to acquire two agencies involved in player representation and sports marketing. There will be VCT, EIS and general placings to raise the cash. TLA will be capitalised at £13.2m.

TLA is a shell that will acquire two US agencies.

TLA will be run by Michael Principe who helped to build up Blue Entertainment Sports Television (BEST), which was acquired by Lagardere in 2010. BEST has clients in tennis, football, basketball, boxing and broadcasting. 

The company website will be www.tlaww-plc.com after admission, which is due to be 2 December.

Bart Campbell, boss of sports agency Essentially, is a shareholder and chairman of TLA and Dwight Mighty, his former colleague at Essentially, is a founding shareholder.
