Trackwise Designs says that there was no improvement in second half trading.

The manufacturer of specialist sensors and RF antennas is expected to make a pre-tax profit of £200,000 in 2019. That is down from £300,000 in 2018. Revenues are set to fall from £3.5m to £2.9m with the radio frequency business hit be delays to the merger between T-Mobile/Sprint merger in the US, as well as the US/China trade dispute.

Improved Harness Technology remains the main attraction of the business. Revenues have grown and there are a significant number of potential customers in the medical, aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors. There should be further substantial growth in revenues this year as trials turn into volume production.

The share price has recovered to 87p since the trading statement.
