The iTrack II provides real time information about the condition of tyres. Users have increased tyre life by up to 30%, as well as obtaining fuel savings.
This deal follows the news that GE Aviation, which licences Transense’s technology, has been chosen for the next phase of the improved turbine engine programme to re-engine helicopters. Transense will receive a royalty for the use of its surface acoustic wave technology. More than 6,000 engines could be replaced.
