TV Commerce is changing its name to Gemstones of Africa.
This reflects the new strategy of acquiring natural resources interests in Africa. Management has not ruled out looking at assets outside of Africa.
An EGM will be held on 22 January 2009 to gain shareholder approval for the name change.
At 0.78p a share, the shell company is valued at £10.3m. The share price has doubled in the past three months.
