UBC Media has acquired radio programme producer Above The Title Productions for an initial £85,000.
There is also an earn out based on profits made by the company in the next 24 months. The maximum payout is £1m in cash and shares but profits of £333,000 have to be achieved for that to become payable. Revenues were £772,000 in the year to September 2009.
Radio content and content-related marketing provider UBC has £9.69m in the bank after selling its commercial division. This won’t make much of a dent in that.
Above The Title programmes include ‘Unreliable Evidence’ presented by Clive Anderson for Radio 4 and ‘The Christian O’Connell Solution’ for 5 Live.
At 4.5p a share, UBC is valued at £8.79m.
