Venue Solutions says that its 2007 losses will be higher than expected.

Venue Solutions installs screens, software and systems and two contracts were delayed. On top of that the YourDay, which provides theme park visitors with a personalised DVD of their day, is being consolidated in the figures.

A screens system at the Printworks shopping mall is being delivered and a contract with Sony is expected to be signed in the near future. There will be additional business from Savills, Chesterton, Riva Gambling and Vue Cinemas during this year. New customers include the Royal Albert Hall, Silverstone and Pinewood Studios.

Venue Solutions increased its stake in YourDay to 58% in November. The system is up and running on six rides at Alton Towers and the other two will be ready by March. It is talking to two other venues - one in the UK and one overseas. Whether or not they make a significant contribution in 2008 will depend on when any agreement is finalised.

The shares dipped 0.5p to 6.5p, which is around one-quarter of their peak in spring 2007.
