WIN says that new managed services contracts won in recent months will have an impact on the second half.

The interactive mobile phone services provider says that new business won in Germany and Greece will have little impact on the first half. Its contribution will increase in the second half.

The premium rate connection business continues to decline modestly.

Sony Ericsson has appointed a WIN subsidiary to manage the content on its PlayNow Arena mobile media service. This upgraded service has been launched in four out of the 32 territories that PlayNow Arena covers. More will be added during the year.

This suggests that much of the profit improvement forecast by house broker Arden will come through in the second half. It forecast a full year rise in profits from £2.7m to £3.8m.

The shares were unchanged at 140p.
