XploiTe has sold its mobile phone content filtering business Fujin to its management.

The management is paying £1.035m for Fujin’s trading operations. It made a loss of £1.3m on turnover of £607,000 in the year to October 2006 but it moved into profit in the most recent six month period.

XploiTe is retaining the rights to the content filtering and categorisation software.

XploiTe has paid £15m for two IT storage companies and these will be the focus of the business. The company previously built up and sold systems integration and hardware businesses. The businesses were sold for £50.5m for an underlying gain of £20m. It wants to repeat that strategy with the storage and managed services business.
