Overview

Atlantic Coal is an open cast coal producer and processor in Pennsylvania, US. Atlantic was formed when Stockton Coal Group reversed into Summit Resources on 19 November 2007. The all share deal was worth £10m at 2.5p a share. Summit Resources joined Aim on 8 June 2006 via a placing that raised £3.68m (£3.44m net) at 2p a share. It was effectively a shell looking to acquire a mining business.
