Bglobal

Overview

Blackburn-based Bglobal was set up in 2003 by people with a software background. The company can install meters, produce on demand energy consumption readings, collect and store data and provide web-based analysis, budgeting and invoice validation software. It can offer these services for electricity, gas and water meters but its business is dominated by the first two. Bglobal joined Aim in April 2007. It raised £6.85m after costs at 50p a share and a subsequent move to new premises means that there is still plenty of room for growth. A further £2.65m (£2.5m net) was raised from a subscription and placing at 20p a share in August 2008.
