Clyde Process Solutions is a materials handling systems designer and supplier. Clyde reversed into a shell called Process Handling in July 2006 in a deal which valued the business at up to £16.85m. A placing raised £2m gross at 2p a share - 100p post-consolidation. The original shell had raised £900,000 at 3p a share - 150p post consolidation - when it joined Aim on 23 March 2005. It was one of the last small shells raising less than £3m to join Aim before the rules were tightened. In April 2007, Clyde acquired MAC Equipment Inc, a producer of air filtration and conveyor systems. It paid £99 and took on the MAC's $84.5m bridging loan facility. A placing at 105p a share raised £23m for the company. This placing was after a 50-for-one share consolidation.
