Overview

Cue Energy owns Oreion Australia Energy which is commercialising micro fuel cell technology developed by CSIRO, an Australian technology research operation. It has an exclusive worldwide licence over certain technology and access to an experienced technical team. The original investing strategy was to take stakes or acquire oil and gas, uranium and renewable energy companies. Australia wasn't originally one of the regions mentioned in the strategy. Cue raised £3m (£2.8m net) at 2p a share prior to joining Aim on 3 August 2006.
