Inland

Overview

Inland is a brownfield property developer. It is building up a land bank and, by obtaining options on land prior to planning permission it can make substantial gains if planning permission is granted. Inland joined Aim on 3 April 2007, when it raised £50m (£47.5m net) at 50p a share. Inland is run by the same team that built up housebuilder and property developer Country & Metropolitan. C&M started out on Ofex before moving to the full list in 1999 and subsequently being taken over by Gladedale in 2005 for £72m. In 2007, Inland acquired Aim-quoted Poole Investments for £11.1m, which gave it valuable land around Poole Harbour.
