Healthcare IT firm Instem Life Sciences Systems Instem provides software that helps pharma companies to automate processes and become more efficient. Staffordshire-based Instem joined Aim on 13 October and raised £9.15m gross (£8.33m net) at 175p a share. Existing shareholders raised £2.2m. The shares ended the first day’s trading at 185p, which valued Instem at £21.7m. Instem’s Provantis software is a leading application in the Early Development Safety Application (EDSA) market for early compounds. Instem recently launched Centrus, which integrates information for early drug development, management and reporting.
