InterBulk Group

Overview

InterBulk Group started out as a cash shell which joined Aim on 31 December 2004 at an introduction price of 3p a share. InterBulk has become one of the world's largest providers of liquid and dry bulk transportation services following two acquisitions. The original core business is UTT, which reversed into InterBulk in February 2006. It provides ISO-Tanks for liquid transportation. Products transported include latex, pesticides, resins, foams, palm oil and fruit juices. UBC, which transports polymers in granular or powder form, was acquired for £79.5m in April 2007. InterBulk concentrates on the containers and the management of the process. The transportation, tank cleaning and repairs are all outsourced.
