Overview

Managed Support Services used to be known as Worthington Nicholls. The company installs and maintains air conditioning and heating systems. Its main customers are hotel operators but it is trying to diversify its customer base. The business grew rapidly by acquisition but its accounting was flawed and it ran into trouble. Former Revenue Assurance boss Simon Beart took over as chief executive in November 2007. Worthington Nicholls floated on Aim on 12 June 2006 when it raised £6.57m net of new money at 50p a share.
