Overview

Parallel Media Group is a sports marketing and brands promotions business. Formerly known as World Sport Group, the business reversed into former furniture manufacturer Orchard Furniture at the beginning of this decade. It is particularly strong in golf and sailing with good connections in Asia. PMG has had a 20 year relationship with the European golf tour and launched the first professional tournament in China in 1995. PMG also promotes golf tournaments in Hong Kong and Kazakhstan. PMG has been involved in sailing since the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1993-94 and is involved with the Italian Rugby Federation.
