Jersey-incorporated investment company Q Resources is looking to acquire resources assets. The initial focus was on Africa. Q Resources joined Aim on 9 April 2010 when it raised £2.96m net of expenses via a placing at 6p a share. That valued the company at £3.28m. The shares were suspended on 12 April 2011 when the potential deal to acquire the Montecristo copper mine in the Antofagasta province of Chile was announced. The shares were suspended for more than six months and the quotation was cancelled on 29 November 2011.
