Strontium plans to build up a group of professional services business in tandem with the 'Strontium Alliance'. The Alliance is designed to enable professional services companies to join together to gain from referrals of customers, take advantage of the expertise of Strontium's companies and networking opportunities. If a member wants to win business with another member's client they have to go through the member whose client it is. If business is won with that customer an introductory fee of 10% of the gross revenues is paid to the Alliance. Strontium keeps half of this and passes the rest onto the referrer. The wholly-owned businesses are involved in training, market research and consultancy.
