Overview

Sevenoaks-based Supercart designs and supplies plastic supermarket trolleys. Supercart floated on Aim in February 2004 and raised £4m at 50p a share. In March 2009, Supercart acquired the moulds of US-based Rehrig, which made plastic/metal hybrid trolleys. An initial $690,000 was paid with a further payment of up to $800,000 based on sales of trolleys made from the moulds. At that time Supercart raised £1.5m (£1.4m net) at 10p a share.
