Tangent Communications is a digital printing and database software company. Tangent started its quoted existence as ctrlp.com when every technology-related company that floated had to add .com to the end of its name. The company raised £8.7m at 60p a share when it joined Aim on 10 May 2000. It subsequently became Documedia Solutions when it sold its ControlP software to fellow Aim company, TripleArc. In June 2005, the current joint chief executives Nicholas and Timothy Green joined the group when they reversed their company, London Digital Printing, into Documedia. That is when it became Tangent Communications.
