Plastics Capital

Plastics Capital says that trading is broadly in line with expectations.

That doesn’t mean that trading conditions are easy. Raw materials prices are expected to stabilise and that should help the manufacturer of niche plastic products.

The Thailand factory will start full production in October 2008. This will contribute to the skewing of trading towards the second half of 2008. The company will also start to benefit from the synergies enjoyed from recent acquisitions.

The market was not impressed by the trading statement and the shares fell 5p to 65p each, which values the company at £17.5m.
