Symphony Environmental Technologies

Symphony Environmental Technologies increased it 2017 revenues by more than one-fifth and more than tripled profit. 

Revenues improved from £6.8m to £8.27m, helped by the strong dollar, while pre-tax profit jumped from £123,000 to £430,000.

The majority of revenues come from the d2w oxo-biodegradable plastic technology. Sales are international with the Middle East particularly interested due to legislation.

There are d2p projects relating to anti-microbial, insecticide, flame retardants and corrosion inhibitors amongst other things. These should generate longer-term revenues.

More than £1m was generated from operations. Net cash was £629,000 at the end of 2017.

The share price has reached 18.75p, which is the highest that it has been for more than three years.
