Gatekeeper Systems, which supplies anti-theft systems for shopping trolleys, has reduced its revenue and profit estimates for 2007.
The shares dived 16p to 10.25p. That values the company at £4.56m.
In November it said that revenues would be in the range of $31m to $32m. That would have been higher than the $29.6m reported in 2006. Management now expects 2007 revenues to be at least $28m.
Gatekeeper had expected net income to be in the range of $2.2m to $2.5m, against $2.4m in 2006. Profits will be at least $1m - less than half of previous expectations.
